Stephen has over 15 years of experience working in the field of Social Services, most of which was spent working with a homeless shelter. While in the field, he created and facilitated multiple programs for different agencies and municipalities. In 2015, Stephen’s agency implemented a Supportive Services system for the homeless and mentally ill population, and received the Homeless Service Provider of the Year award from United Way. This program was created and used by the City of Phoenix Police, Prosecutors office, and Human Services Department.
Stephen co-founded Fulfillment In Training (F.I.T) to answer the needs of our community. F.I.T is a social justice and equities nonprofit that focuses on addressing community and law enforcement relations, as well as knowledge and access to health and fitness resources. In efforts to be the best service to the community, the F.I.T team has invested in training and certifications to most effectively serve the community. Stephen brings his leadership, innovation, and passion to communities and individuals, helping them achieve a holistic, healthy lifestyle, and improve communities for current and future generations.
As a social services professional, Stephen serves as part of the Open Table technical support team to provide subject matter expertise in the areas of homelessness, mental health, and substance use disorder to empower Tables to deliver transformational outcomes.
