Laura Hanlon joined Open Table as a consultant in the Fall of 2023, however prior to that she was a volunteer serving on a Table in Raleigh NC. In January of 2024, Laura joined the team as the Open Table Administrative Coordinator and brings over ten years of experience working with young adults.
In her current role at Open Table, Laura is responsible for data input, system management, and technical support to the volunteer workforce nationally. Laura operates the Open Table Help Desk and manages all operating systems for the Field Team.
Laura graduated from North Carolina State University with a BS in Secondary Math Education. Although she only works occasionally in a classroom, her passion to teach and work with teens has brought her to where she is now as part of The Open Table team. Laura found herself in roles where she was often managing projects and working with teams of people.
Born and raised in North Carolina, Laura hasn’t left. She lives in Apex as a proud wife and mother to four. When she is not working, you will often find her outdoors on her urban farm, at church, dabbling on the piano, buying houseplants, or just simply celebrating life with her friends and family. Laura currently serves on a Table in Raleigh, NC.
