Amy joined Open Table in 2024 after working seven years as a manager of volunteer engagement for an agency serving families experiencing homelessness. It was here that she saw how relationships transform communities as she implemented both Core Tables and Network Tables. Whether it was moving refrigerators or building affordable housing, Amy learned that there was no problem passionate community members could not solve.
As the Community Engagement Manager, Amy trains communities and organizations to implement and expand Open Table. She also trains and supports statewide, regional and local Open Table Community Engagement Coordinators, as a way to bring the Table model to scale in their communities.
Amy earned a Bachelor of Arts from Nazareth University and a Master of Arts and Master of Theological Studies from Wesley Theological Seminary. She achieved certifications in non-profit management from William Paterson University as well as in project management from Google.
Amy is actively seeking book recommendations and enjoys spicy Thai food, hiking and biking, and the color green. Amy has served as a support to a Table in her community in New Jersey and assisted them with building lasting relationships with the family they served.
